Memories to Hold began as the result of the loss of my father Merle in April 2003 and the loss of my brother Brian in September 2004.
By creating a teddy bear out of my dad's shirt, his memory was transformed, I was able to capture his character - my special memories are no longer tucked away in a closet.
My Dad Bear is my side-kick...he travels well, keeps me company, snuggles with me and when I hug him it feels like he's hugging me back.
